$59 to fly from Florida to Connecticut!!!! I am still amazed how I found that $59 flight and even more so after experiencing it.  With the current situation, traveling is tough.  I heard a lot of horror experiences from booking websites, and a lot of travelers losing time and money. That's why I want to share this blog with you today.   While out in Florida shopping, I found 2 beautiful Shelli and Guess (really nice and warm winter coat) at $19.99 and $24.99.  If you guys live in Connecticut, NY, NJ, MA, RI or probably even more pricey in the Midwest you know that these winter coats range between $80-$150!!!  Cut the long story short, I left the store sad,until.......SouthWest airlines sent notification for my upcoming trip.  I GET 2 CHECKED BAGGAGE for FREEEEEEE!  Soon as the store opened in the morning, went back the store, Shelli coat is gone, bought Guess then bought an extra bag to fit everything I shopped that I would check in for FREEπŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜†...

Visa Status - AP (Administrative processing)

Hi guys, I'm glad to be back and ready to pick up where I left off. Quick recap on my last blog, after my medical exams at St Lukes’ I flew back to Bacolod to wait for the Sputum culture results. I swear that part was the worst in my entire Visa journey!  I was told by the nurse that any day I will get a call or text from the clinic if the culture turns positive!  I then I have to fly back to Manila to start a 6-month medication. Every day I would wake up hoping the phone would not ring and would celebrate if another day’s passed without getting that call.  Through this entire stressful ordeal, I am thankful for my husband’s patience and support! After the medical was cleared, the nurse set up my interview appointment for the following day. Visa interview time!!!!!! I am extremely grateful and lucky to have such an amazing and smart husband, thank you Lord!  He is doing is own research from 10,000 miles away to help even with the smallest details of this journey....

Bring the sputum schedule slip 2. Passport 3. Sleep early 4. Don't wear lipstick 5. No breakfast 6.  Don't use mouthwash Note: if there are food particles or other chemicals present on the sample they may ask you to repeat (extra fee). Upon arrival, proceed to the left side of the building where monoblock chairs are lined.  Present your passport and the sputum schedule slip to the guard in exchange of a queue number.  Nothing to worry as th...
